Marc Jaffe is the inventor of the ElijahDrinks Cup. He is a writer and comedian, having written for Seinfeld, Mad About You and other television shows. He has performed his stand-up in comedy clubs around the country and on about a dozen TV shows. Marc has also written several books, two of which can be found on this web-site. While at a seder last year he watched as the host shook the table when Elijah was supposed to arrive. He thought that the intent to excite the kids was a great idea, but that it was rather feebly executed. He thought it would be great if the wine would actually disappear from the cup and it was then that he set out to invent the cup you see here.
